Per your business request, the Major Business Company has analyzed Heath Manufacturing to determine the system organizational needs and structure. Contained within this document are the facts utilized to make recommendations, our analysis and our proposal. We certainly feel that you will be pleased with our findings and recommendations.

HeathCo. Analysis

HeathCo. currently has 4 locations which house a an overall total of 545 employees. Each location averages about 100 employees and transactional servers. Only 2 locations have their own Corporate, Finance, Marketing and HR department. Employees often travel to different sites to perform their job functions and must access resources. The company expects over 30% growth within the next 3 years. All sites are self sufficient as to the fact that if one of their corporate connections is lost, production can still continue.

HeathCo. Recommendation

Due to the company size and expected growth as well as the need for employees to cross divisions and locations, it is recommended that HeathCo.utilize a cross forest Active Directory topology. This benefit of this topology is that all servers synchronize and share resources to allow users to log on locally and access resources remotely, and vice versa. This ensures at least a small amount of productivity is possible when network connections are lost. The main advantage of a Cross-Forest Topology is that is has tighter security features and provide better event logging than other topologies.
