Food, fun, friends, music, and making a memorable night are all parts of planning an awesome party. Essential needs to be considered when planning a successful party are food, entertainment, comfort, and style. The party will only turn out to be as good as the planning.

First of all a location must be found. Choosing a space that will accommodate all your guests comfortably is extremely important. With good space, people are able to move around and socialize better, and also have a more comfortable time dining and dancing. It's also important to pick a location that isn't difficult to get to or isn't too far away for your guests convenience. Depending on whether you are decorating at this party you might want to choose a place that has a neutral decorative theme and is easy to disguise.

Second of all, the food must be chosen. Again depending on the type of party the food may have a theme to it shaping your decision. A caterer is a possibility, not only do they relieve some of the responsibility but usually they are more likely to impress the guests. Having many options for the types of food served is imperative. This way all the guests will find something they like. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks should be available. Offering "virgin" styles of the alcoholic drinks is a creative way to please all. Having a skilled bartender who has a few tricks up their sleeve can be enjoyable for the guests; as they show off their skills while mixing the drinks.

Thirdly is the entertainment aspect of the party. This is no small aspect either. The entertainment can truly make or break a party. One must decide on going with a band or a DJ. Either way you must know your guests and have a sense of what they would most enjoy. A DJ may be a safer choice I think, because a band can get boring and repetitive whereas a DJ can play a mix of greatest hits and the guests will not become bored, but will have a time to show off their
