I absolutely loved this project and experience overall. We got the idea for this project after seeing the movie, "Freedom Writers". I went with three of my four other teammates to see it for our first paper and when we walked out, the three of us couldn't shut up about how much we loved and were inspired by the movie. On the way back from the movie, we got the idea to do a spin off of the movie for our project. The whole way home from the theater we were coming up with ideas for our upcoming project. When we finally began working on the project, it fell into place fairly well because we were so intrigued with the inspiration we each had. This project brought forward so many new aspects of teaching to my attention and really got me motivated even more about my future as an educator.

I think the biggest thing I got from the project was all of the things I learned about different schools and also other people's view on schools and education overall. There are some many differences in the education field that it is so hard to attempt to understand and melt everything into one big pot that isn't complicated. This project helped me to realize the obstacles that I will face when entering into the teaching profession. Before this project, I kind of knew there were issues but I didn't really know or understand them. Now, I feel as though I am better educated about the issues in different schools and I know feel I have my own strong opinion about issues whereas before I was in the middle simply because I wasn't aware of most of the major issues.

When we were putting this project together, we originally started with a topic on the complete other side of the spectrum. However, as we were all working together, we were able to pull from each other. We really were all passionate about what we were doing and how we each felt.
