Personal Perspective Paper

This personal perspective paper will discuss several topics that have been studied so far in the first class at University of Phoenix. This paper will give information on many different topics and will have several examples to support those topics.

This paper will identify the values of having rEsource available throughout the MBA program at University of Phoenix, it will also identify and explain the values of learning teams and the values of Problem Based Learning. The first topic that will be discussed is the value rEsource has throughout the program at University of Phoenix.

The Value of rEsource

REsource is extremely valuable to the MBA program at University of Phoenix. This valuable tool allows students access to many different programs that help students in achieving their overall goals in the MBA program. For example, rEsource has a writing center available to students. This writing center allows each student to submit a paper and have it checked to make sure it is free of errors before you submit it for grading. This service is a great value to students and helps each student to achieve the best writing grade possible when writing a paper. REsource also allows students to check their grades and gives them a current graduation status throughout the MBA program. This allows students to have an up to date status on what their overall GPA is, and how much more school they have to achieve their graduation and receive their diplomas. The next topic that will be discussed is the value of learning teams.

The Value of Learning Teams

Learning teams bring tremendous value to each class in the MBA program and help students to achieve success through a team effort as well as a individual effort. For example, teams allow fellow students to interact with one another and help build critical social and communication skills. Teams also help to expand creativity by working with several minds instead of just one. David Kolb, author of Learning Teams gives a great example of what team learning is, he states; "Team Learning is the process by which teams gain clarity about purpose, develop good working relationships, and effectively accomplish their goals" ( Kolb Chap.1 pg3). These examples clearly demonstrate the values of team based learning. The next topic is the value of Problem based learning.
