Declaration of Independence from needy friends

When in the course of everyday life it becomes necessary to break emotional ties that link you to one another. It becomes imperative that every person involved receive their fair share of human rights.

We are to hold these truths to be self-evident. All girls are made equal in this relationship, and the by-laws of best friend-hood has certain unalienable rights such as the right to NOT answer the phone at 3:00 am, date someone the other party doesn't like, and solitude services. In order to ensure that these rights are observed there are certain laws that shall be set in to be place and are to be unspoken of.

If the unspoken area had worked this would not be nessacary but, it did not work so it will be written in full textual format. People who have befriended you and other parties have noticed, not only, that your are extremely needy. Furthermore, we have been sitting along and putting up with it for the past 5 years. This is a friendship NOT a totalitarian dictator-friend-ship.

We have made a public yet private record of your offenses against your loyal people whom you have regarded as your 24-hour therapy and consultant hotline.

We the people have the right to liberation from a tyranny and/ or totalitarian dictatorship and that is exactly what this is.

In conclusion, I say that in order for us to continue to be friends you need to relax and loosen the apron strings that have tied us all together. This is the last year that is will be completely in effect because of senior year. So as I say this I will still stand by you as a firm friend but, me and the other parties have been officially separated from the needy side of you.
