                                                Life Goals Essay

        I have many life goals but these 5 are my most important. I believe that with hard work and determination I can achieve these goals. I will challenge myself to get them done.

        My first goal is to place at the state wrestling tournament during high school. I posses many skills to achieve this goal such as I can tackle anyone, I can score points on anyone and I can hold my own against anyone. Although I posses many skills there are still some for example more experience such as more tournaments and practices. Some challenges I face aren’t not placing high enough in the regional tournament, not being focused on wrestling because of school stuff or not being able to take people down. The strategy I came up for this is working on my takedowns after practice that way I can take anyone down and place high enough at my regional to qualify for state. Also putting in extra work whenever possible such as lifting weights or going to the extra practices available at Baldwin. This goal is very important to because I want all the time, work and energy I’ve put in to pay off.

        My next goal is to go to Kansas state university for college. I have many skills to achieve this goal such as I will apply for kstate, I am organized, and I can take very good notes. Some challenges I face are not getting accepted and not meeting the requirements to get in. There are skills I still need though, I need to improve on test taking skills and I need essay writing skills in general. My strategy for overcoming these challenges is to work with Mrs. Rinearson on my essay writing skills and talk to Mrs. Fine about college test taking tips. This goal if accomplished will better my future as a whole.

        My third goal is to become a vet or a biologist. The skills I have now are I’m interested in science and I’m persistent. Some skills that I need now are taking the correct sciences classes in high school and possibly some job shadowing with a vet or biologist. The main challenge I face is not getting excepted to the program or not meeting the requirements to get in. The strategy I came up with this is to make sure I take the GRE as required to get in. This goal if I accomplished will make me a very happy man because I love to work with animals.
