What is Life?

Life is like water; maybe more than people think. Water is born out of the union of two objects. Hydrogen and Oxygen joining together to create a new form of life; water. Water is, however, only a tiny microscopic drop in reality; the ocean. Therefore, think of the ocean as the birthplace of life.

From the ocean, water evaporates upwards. This symbolizes the point in life where people grow up. In nature this event is usually unseen and unnoticed. This can be the case for people, too. People often say, "Where has the time gone. How could they have grown up so fast without me noticing?"

When the water condenses in the clouds, it is representing the high point in people's lives. This is the place in time that everyone wishes to last forever. It is that feeling of being on top of the world, being the object of attention, or just the fact that everyone is noticed then. Everyone looks at the clouds as a wonder and an inspiration. This is very much how it is for people in life at this point in time.

However, it is inevitably going to come to an end as all life does. Precipitation; the point where water falls from the sky and plummets towards the ground. This is life at its final stage. At this point in time there is nothing left, but the end and waiting for it to arrive. This is inevitable, like rain, it will happen anywhere at anytime. Nothing but the silent fall from the life in the sky down to the cold, dark ground where nothing but death awaits.

As each little drop of rain hits the earth, it symbolizes death and all those who died at that time. They barrel at high speed toward the hard ground that engulfs them and pulls them under. Their bodies, like the rain, are absorbed into the ground and are reused to start the cycle all over again. The rain travels back to the sea and then to the sky and back to the earth and to the
