Many American citizens are starting to say that Iraq War is just like the Vietnam War which simply just isn't true. There are many ideas to support this theory, such as government, military, artillery, and medical technology. Iraq is not the same as Vietnam and this will be very easy to prove.

First supporting idea is the type of government the Iraq has compared to the government Vietnam had in 1959. Iraq has no government since it was taken over by the U.S. The U.S. just wants to see Iraq change for the good so they are going to continue to stay there until everything is somewhat peaceful. The only thing Iraq has is a couple of small groups that participate in car bombings and ambushes. Iraq recently had there first election was great for the government and the people. U.S. forces were a little nervous because North Vietnam had the ability to do anything with such a big army. One thing that U.S. military did for each country was thy rebuilt hospitals and schools. Each of the enemy's armies is very different so that is another difference from the Vietnam and Iraq war, now artillery in each country.

There is going to be many differences with each others artillery since we us a lot more technology in present day but it just proves that Iraq is not the same as Vietnam. Even though some reports have said that Iraq doesn't have enough weapons this simply just isn't true. The soldiers
