The purposed business is a sole proprietorship and thus has unlimited liability to the proprietor. It is owned and managed by Ms. Rabia Asif, who has 2 years of experience in restaurant business.

NAME AND NATURE OF THE BUSINESS:

The name of the purposed company is going to be Kofe Lounge. This name has been carefully selected, because the name reflects what kind of a business is being launched into the market. And as the name 'Kofe Lounge' suggests that it is going to be a coffee shop business.

Coffee is a huge business. In fact, coffee is the second most valuable commodity after oil. Fresh and delicious; Kofe lounge doesn't only have the best coffee and espresso beverages available, but also a delightful line of fresh food products. We're passionate about our coffee and the beverages we are going to serve

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The market for beverages such as coffee has been consistently solid for as long as coffee has been invented, and is expected to see substantial expansion over the next few years. Kofe lounge all is all about the ultimate coffee experience. We aim to be not only to be qulity leaders but also to create a life style for its consumers.

The Kofe lounge offers its customers the finest hot and cold beverages, specializing in specialty coffees, blended teas, and other custom drinks. In addition, KL will offer soft drinks, fresh-baked pastries and other confections. Seasonally, KL will add beverages such as apple juice, hot chocolate, frozen coffees, and more.

In addition to providing a quality product and an extensive menu of delicious items, to ensure customer awareness and loyalty, as well as good publicity coverage and media support, we will be donating up to 7.5% of revenue to local charities based upon customer choices.

The Kofe lounge chooses to become the Paki based version of Starbucks between the mountains, obtaining several million rupees through an initial public or private offering that would allow the company to open many branches in the near future. The danger in this is that competitors would rise up and establish a foothold on a community before--or in the midst of--the arrival of kofe lounge, causing a potential for a drain on revenues and a dramatic increase in advertising expenditures to maintain market share. Knowing these risks--and planning for them--gives KL the edge needed to make this scenario work.

The Kofe lounge's financial picture is quite promising. Since KL is operating a cash business, the initial cost is significantly less than many start-ups these days. The process is labor intensive and KL recognizes that a higher level of talent is required. The financial investment in its employees will be one of the greatest differentiators between it and KL's competition. For the purpose of this pro-forma plan, the capital expenditures of facilities and equipment are financed. There will be minimum inventory on hand so as to keep the product fresh and to take advantage of price drops, when and if they should occur.
