Charts

-A line graph is a way to summarize how two pieces of information are related and how they vary depending on one another. The numbers along a side of the line graph are called the scale.

- A pie chart is a circle graph divided into pieces, each displaying the size of some related piece of information. Pie charts are used to display the sizes of parts that make up some whole.

- The Dot Plot chart is a combination chart. It combines a bar chart structure with scatter chart markers.

Mary Monroe, Vice President of New Product Development conducted a meeting with the staff regarding the implantation of a new rewards program for customers.

During this meeting , Mary facilitated to the staff that Best Market Research had provided her with research regarding the implementation of the Instant Reward program; however, she failed to provide the staff with any supporting documentation such as cost comparison, reward percentage results from competitors, time factors of implementation, benefits to the company and employees. This information should have been effectively communicated to the staff by the use of charts.
