One of the biggest differences between these great teams is national championships won. Ohio State has won seven and Michigan has won eleven. Another difference between them is the number of players from each team that have won the Heisman trophy. Ohio State has six players that have won the award. Their names are Les Horvath, Vic Janovicz, Howard Cassidy, Archie Griffin, and Eddie George. Archie Griffin won the trophy twice. Michigan has three players that have won the award. The last difference between them is the number of wins and losses against each other. These two teams have played against each other since 1909, which is a

total of 95 games. Although it is a great rivalry, the records against each other are lop-sided. Michigan has won 57 games, and Ohio State has won only 38 games.
