My Opinion About online Classes

What is you openion of the recorded lecture? and why? You can explain the advantages and disadvantages, are you going to use it in the future, or you can simply compare between virtual and recorded lectures. 

My point of view is that the recorded lecture makes it easy for both the teacher and the students to work on the material being displayed. So, based on that I might use it in the future to discuss the curriculum with my students if it is suitable.

The advantages:

1- The students can attend the recorded class at any time. There is no restricted time for it.

2- The teacher can record it whenever she\he is free and upload it to the students so that they can listen to it.

3- It is available for students to download and save in order to come back to it if they need to clarify some points without going to the instructor.

4- The network will not be a problem here because if a student is facing trouble connecting to the recorded lecture he/she can close it and open it and still find it reachable.

 The disadvantages:

1- The teacher will not receive an immediate feedback from the students.

2- Visual aids will not be an option here so both the teacher and the students who prefer to work with pictures, videos or even slides may not prefer this class.

3- Some students will delay attending this class and start studying it and making notes on points that are not clear until the day of the exam which is not good.

4- The teacher has to schedule time to record and then edit and later download which could be a lot of work, especially if the quality of the sound is not good.
