Making Models Meaningful (chapter one page 16)

I just started a new job at Ross, I was trying to talk to my new boss Katie, she was telling me what I needed to do, so my department was clean. I could not understand what she was saying to me, because we where so far apart the nosie in the store drowned out what she had said. PROCEDURE:

The procedure was looking back in a recent past experience where communication was a problem. Then to explain what the problem was, then state a possible solution the identified problem.

THE PURPOSE:

The purpose fo this exercise was to think about some of the problems that occur during everyday communication. Then to find a possible solution, so that in the future some of these problems can be avoided.

CONCEPTS:

I enjoyed this exercise, it gave me a chance to think about why some miss understanding happen. Just because we think that we are communicating well with others, but others might think we are not communicating well with them.
