Duty-based (Deontological):

1. We have established over and over that communication is the key to a successful learning team. Donna and the team would have to communicate better with Michael. Establishing rules is not really communicating. It has always been my experience that when you present rules to someone who is already on the outside of a group that they will resist even more. The group needs to find out why Michael is acting like this and maybe try to appeal to reasonable side to get Michael to take the assignment more seriously. Also is Michael still pulling his weight on the team? Why is Donna so offended by Michael's actions?

2. I can identify with Stephanie because I also have a problem with people telling lies. I find that it is always easier to work with the truth than tell lies. I have been in similar situations before and did not lie for the other person. I made it a point to distance myself from the situation. I would however voice my opinion to the group. Even though complaining never seems to do too much good. It is not really Stephanie's place to get the fellow team mate in trouble. Telling on the team mate could be disastrous for everyone. The teammate who ditched the presentation will get what is coming to her in due time if she continues to shun her responsibilities and put people in awkward positions like the one she put Stephanie in.

Goal-based (Teleological):

1. I would imagine that Corin's attitude and unwillingness to work are having a very negative effect on the team. It would be very frustrating to be on Corin's team. Are Corin's team mates also soon to finish up their school? If so why is he the only one on the team to be stricken by such a non-caring attitude? Corin still has not graduated from school yet. Is he so far ahead that he feels he can just shun all of his responsibilities?

2. I think that Darcie should stay in the class. She already made a commitment to herself when she signed up for the class. The fact that she is going to stick around for the good of the team is nice but she should really stay in the class and try to learn something. If she gives up now the only thing she will learn is that
