Abstract

In the business sector, online advertising is considered as the most significant tool which illustrates the path of development. This particular aspect of business and marketing is a high-flying strategy for progress. Previously, product marketing was the sole motive of the companies with the help of online marketing, but the scenario seems a bit different now. In these days, the process gets revolutionized and the purpose of internet marketing has stepped ahead from the conventional marketing practices. Looking into the prospective view, promotions in social media sites has increased and consumers are getting more interactive towards businesses for faster and effective development. This research paper is about the assessment of impact of online advertising on the growth of business.

Introduction

Promotional messages are the major part of marketing that is affiliated with online advertising. This technique is popularly known as online marketing, in which information is presented to the consumers. These information are basically promotional that convey messages for the sole purpose of marketing and advertising. Among the various online advertising methods, there are certain methods having huge magnitude and these elements play their vital roles in the internet adverting sector. Some of the important services are- search engine marketing, display promotion, social media advertising, web banner, mobile advertising, email marketing etc. Publishers and advertisers are two major parts of this modern technique of promotion. The advertisements are integrated into online contents by the publishers and then it is displayed by the advertisers to the people. There are other sources like ad agencies for online promotion, in which a server for the advertisements is provided where they put all the contents for promotion. They also keep all the records by statistical analysis. Concrete data from surveys shows that profits due to online advertising exceeded than that of advertisements in televisions in the year 2011 in the U.S. In the year 2012, $36 billion was the total revenue within the United States which progressed to $43 billion only by introducing internet advertising. This 17% revenue increase rate is the symbol of excellence and that’s why top industrial and IT sectors are adapting this technique for their brand promotion as well as marketing of their products and services in a worldwide manner. There are certain rules and regulations are set to avoid any sort of controversial advertisements.

Improvement in the field of internet has dramatically modified the concept of business operation, their marketing and progress relate to marketing. The instantaneous impact of online advertising fundamentally affects our daily life. There are notable changes that can be observed sue to alteration in the activities related to marketing. This has been proved from the fact that leading business sectors are changing their approach and diving into the concept of e-commerce. Practicalities have crossed the threshold of prominent business fields, where online advertising is given much more importance due to the cost effectiveness and faster development. Transparency between the customers and the businesses gets enhanced with the help of this innovative approach. The information flow process has got smooth, prominent business firms get familiar with the service requirements and new demands regarding the products from customers’ reviews. For the better implementation of online advertising different theories, programs, technologies as well as various applications have been proposed into the market which should be properly analyzed to get ample amount of information and proper understanding about internet advertising. Many leading business sectors have implemented the idea of online promotion and change their way of business towards success. The prime objective here in the research is to understand the gravity of online advertisement in the development of business in different sectors. Nowadays, it has become extremely convenient for the customers to purchase everything by the internet due to the time, energy and cost saving factors. Online customers are quite acquainted with the easy process of online purchasing, payment methods and quick order with high protection. By implementing online advertisements, consumers get to know about the wide-ranging varieties of products, the discount and other offers linked with the products and services, the specialties and additional features etc. From the survey, a fact has come to light- To get successful and elevate the sales graph as well as revenue figures, people seem more concerned about online marketing in this modern era. Here in this research, three major sections have been highlighted which is related to impact of online advertising on the commercial sector and its progress.  

Among all the key points, the concept of online marketing is being recognized and its correct implementation by distinguished firms is the main topic. In various segments, relationship between consumers and online advertising is mentioned with analytical theory of how this ultramodern promotional technique gets in touch with the consumers successfully. There are also certain difficulties related to this particular marketing process but regardless of these problems there are always fresh opportunities that are evolved throughout online promotion that take the business status to the ultimate zenith.

The adequate definition of e-marketing is very imperative and the without understanding the concept it is impossible to understand the impact. This concept is comprehended by most of the giants in the business sectors and with proper perceptive knowledge about the implementation processes, they have become the giants of the industrial and IT sectors. According to Patricelli- Diverse online activities have become a part of human life and these extensive ranges of activities are represented in the manner of promotional messages and become a part of online advertising. Creation of websites, its promotion, communication and interactive link between consumers and the business, email marketing and other advertisings are the major elements that are utilized by most of the prominent group of industries. However, the range of online advertising is growing every year extensively and it has covered many activities in last ten years. It is not wrong to mention that the array of internet promotion has been extremely developed. Of which, social media is the most excellent tool that is being implemented as the key to promote brands, products, services and supports. For online advertisement, social media sites have a huge role and the definition of the term “online marketing” has changed. All the processes such as- manufacturing, promotional parts, communication, distribution segments, pricing and so on are strategic concepts that help to attract the targeted traffic towards the business but with the help of advertisements. With the progress of high-tech device manufacturing like- smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops etc the platform of online advertisement got broad and it seems the concept has got clearer to everyone.
