Yummilicious Brownies is a start-up pastry establishment located in Gaisano Mall, Iligan City. Yummilicious Brownies expects to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with its broad variety of pastry products especially brownies. The company plans to build a strong market position in the town, due to the partners' mild competitive climate in the area.

Yummilicious Brownies is a new café that caters to the regular local resident in Iligan City, Philippines. As our name suggests, our focus is to provide fresh, unique and high quality pastry product and positioning ourselves as top selling store servicing this particular market. III. YummyLicious Brownies is incorporated in Gaisano Mall, Iligan City. It is equally owned and managed by its three business partners. Jennifer Abuda, Alfaizzah Asum and Mac Bain Actub. We will be located at Gaisano City Supermall, Iligan city. The hours of operation will be from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm every Monday to Saturday. Sunday is 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, there will be extended special hours designated during Iligan Fiesta Month Celebration and during the Christmas holiday shopping season. IV. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES Yummilicious Brownies offers a broad range of pastry products especially brownies. Yummilicious Brownies caters to all of its customers by providing each pastry products made to suit the customer, down to the smallest detail.The shop provides freshly prepared pastry products at all times during business operations. Six to eight moderate batches of pastry products are prepared during the day to assure fresh baked goods are always available.

Yummilicious Brownies will also serve parties like: birthday party, wedding reception, business meeting and the likes. V. MARKETING PLAN TARGET MARKET

Yummilicous Brownies will be targeting the regular local residents of the city. The company will work strategically to meet the demands and satisfaction of the customers. 1.1 Geographic Characteristics

Yummilicous Brownies will concentrate in urban area where there the highest span of the target is situated. MARKET ANALYSIS 2.1 Market Segmentation

The regular local urban residents population is concentrated heavily in the heart of the city therefore leading to the highest concentration of our customer base. . These market segments consume the majority of pastry products.

Yummilicous Brownies wants to establish a large regular customer base. This will establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to ensure stability of the business. 2.2 Market Segment Strategy

Yummilicous Brownies will focus on targeting local residents. Personal and expedient customer service at a competitive and high quality product is key to maintain the local market share of this target market.

This segment will be our company’s words of mouth strategy. People who belong to middle to high class are having the capacity to buy high quality products offered by the company. This segment looks at the quality of the product not to its price.

2.2.1 Market Needs

When the weather is cool, hot coffee products are very much in demand. During warmer days, iced coffee products or cold drinks are in significantly high demand, along with a slower but consistent demand for hot coffee products. Since Iligan city’s weather changes sometimes. 2.2.2 Service Business Analysis

Despite of what the experts predict that we will emerge from global financial crisis and, as a result, we can expect that people will be more practical, Iliganons still demand for what they really want especially when it comes to food like sweets. So, Yummilicous Brownies will position itself as a place where customers can enjoy a delicious, fresh and unique brownie with a cup of coffee or a drink in a relaxing environment. 2.3 Main Competitors

The café is fairly various. On the other side, homemade business is frequent nowadays. On the other side there are also food industries. Somewhere in between there are bakeries that not only sells bread but serve other pastry products. 1.) Homemade business. The advantage of this business is inexpensive products. The disadvantage is that it cannot easily be found, you have to contact them telephones or cellular phones.

2.) Food industries. Like Purple plate, Pop rock and Goldilocks, their popularity would sell their products.

3.) Bakeries. Like Mr. Bakers, Fem’s and other bakeries that serve not only breads but other pastry products at low cost. 3.1 Products

Yummilicious Brownies will sell out fresh, unique and high quality pastry products. We will be purchasing through sales representatives and manufacturers in a variety of our products to fit our target market base. Management will rely on customers feedback, suggestions, and reports to introduce or eliminate certain products. 3.1.2 Product Description
