There are millions of people that suffer with chronic pain and this is a safe way to treat it. Marijuana can also prevent nausea from chemo and prevent the spreading of many other forms of cancer. Many of these cancers are cancers that form in the brain. Marijuana can also help people with the HIV/AIDS virus. People with AIDS experience severe weight loss that is not good for the body, and the marijuana will help them gain the weight back.

Marijuana can be used in place of addictive drugs that are prescribed by doctors to patients. Marijuana is a lot safe than opioid pain killers ;however, these pain killers kill millions of people. Must be why they call them pain “killers”. These people are killed because these pain killers are very addictive. It is truly not good to be taking addictive drugs because it would be hard to get off of them. Painkillers come with an addiction, and that addiction can lead to an overdose. Overdosing is not okay and in many cases leads to death.

Finally many different states have legalized marijuana for not only medical use, but also for recreational use. Some of these states include: Colorado, Arizona, Washington, and California.
