Unemployment Causes in Our Life
Unemployment is a serious problem that leads to some troubles in daily life. It is not a new problem; unfortunately, it is a daily day problem. It is a phenomenon that occurs when a person who is actively searching for employment is unable to find work (Investopedia). People around all the world study to get jobs, because no one can live without money. Money is a basic thing that we need it to live a normal life. More importantly, the number of unemployment people is increasing these days and that it is not a good thing. However, there are several reasons for unemployment problems due to the development of technology and economic conditions.
New technology is a main reason for the increasing in the number of unemployment people. Today many companies get machines that can do all the work that human do as Roberts. These machines can provide their money. Instead of giving the money for workers, they can use it for different things that can benefit their company. When the company gets these machines and Roberts, they expel many of the workers and they stop giving job opportunities. However, the new technology that companies use need employees who know how to use these new strategies, so they do not give any job opportunities for old people, because they do not know how to deal with these new technology machines. In addition, they do not accept young people, because they do not have many experiences with these machines too. Finally, technology developments cause many bad effects for employees; on other hand, it destroys them.
Economic conditions are also main factor for the unemployment problems. First, if there is not enough money coming into a company, this company stops paying its employees and they stop giving job opportunities. Second, the increasing population led to unemployment, the recent economic crisis has caused real financial strain on the society. A Bad economy means that at the same time people have little or no money on their pockets and the little they have are holding on to it. Then they have to cut back on production reduce the working hours and even lay down employees (UKessays). Finally, the crisis of overproduction occurs when the offer of products or services exceeds substantially existing demand. The overproduction forces companies to save costs and they use job cuts to compensate losses caused by the excess of offer over demand. In such a situation, companies do not need as much employees as they used before, when the offer matched the demand (ShareYourEssays). To conclude economic conditions can lead to have bad opportunities to have a job, or to have a job with low income, that no one can live a normal life with this income.
