The Clown Murderer

It was a dark and spooky night and the full moon lit the sky. As you have probably guessed it was Halloween and the small town of Luickers was buzzing with funny looking characters. My best friend Miranda and I were both dressed as witches, and carrying small caldrons to fill with sweets. We decided to leave our noisy street and go somewhere different this year.

After walking for what felt like half an hour we came to a street we had never dared step foot in. I knew it was a bad idea to enter D.E Avenue as there were many scary stories about that street but I did not have a choice as Miranda had already started shuffling down the street. I followed nervously. The atmosphere was eerie and sent a chill up my spine. Every house looked old and haunted. Most of them had boarded windows and long green grass which covered the whole garden. I was staring right into the eyes of a huge multi-coloured clown. Its eyes were black with white slits in the middle and blood dripped over his face. I went into shock.

Then I remembered about Miranda, I could see her sprinting towards the end of the street. She will get help I thought to myself trying to be reassuring. The clown began dragging me towards a large scary house, the largest and scariest in the street. I tried to wriggle free but the clown had a tight grip around my thin wrist.

Inside the house reminded me of a horror film. Spider webs clung to the doorways and the floorboards creaked with each step. The whole house smelt of dampness. The strange clown continued dragging me into a small fire lit room which contained only a dirty ripped sofa and a small old-fashioned coffee table. The fireplace was large and dusty.

He finally
