Welcome!

Welcome to MGT 448!

"This is a past-paced 5-week problem-based learning class focused on understanding sound global business strategies. Please ensure you have access to the eResource materials. This is where you will find your weekly readings, and assignment outlines.

Moreover, please ensure you are using your UoP Email Address. Often, I will send you course materials via your e-mail. Also, I like for students to send me personal questions to me via my UoP and not to my personal e-mail.

Please be aware-- It is very easy to fall behind in online courses Ð'- yet, very difficult to catch up. Therefore, I encourage you to do your homework, and come to class prepared to participate. I like to keep the discussions closely tied to the subject matter, but fun!

Teamwork reminder - you'll be working with a team who will come to depend on your timely input. So, equal participation is essential.

Additionally, I usually like to get my weekly feedback out by the early weekend (Saturday or early Sunday), and late assignment submissions will tend to delay this timely feedback for all.

I strive to have an open and easy-going learning atmosphere; global business strategy can be difficult Ð'- but I believe learning about global business is essential to becoming an effective leader and understanding the issues in global strategy should be fun!

My goal is to ensure all students excel and master all learning objectives. Therefore, cooperation, respect and participation by all class members are essential to meet this goal. Please respect the opinions of others and their right to express those opinions."

Finally, feel free to call or contact me via my personal UoP mailbox (timills@email.phoenix.edu) or by home phone 774-719-2266. Also, don't forget Tech-Support who can be reached at (877-Tech-UoP).
