INTRODUCTION

According to Scott, (2009) the murder criminality scene is, without any hesitation, is the greatest vital crime scene a police officer or investigator will be called upon to respond to. Homicide investigation is said be most highly specialized and dedicated undertaking, which requires years of practical skill coupled with a procedure of continual education and exercise. Nevertheless, homicide investigation is not the high-class purview of the investigator. Successful homicide investigation repeatedly is being influenced by on the initial actions taken by patrol officers responding to any given scene.

In U.S history, there is an old and pervasive myth which resists that women do not commit murder. This myth is based on outdated gender customs or prospects of behavior in our culture that include the idea that females are too submissive to kill someone. In reality, women do commit murder in the U.S. but at particularly lower rates than do men. When you add race into the equation, white women have lower homicide criminal rates than men.

According to Vronsky (2004) Female who commits murder are much more probable than males to kill for monetary profit, comfort or revenge. This is opposite from  male  killers who typically target people they don’t know or  unknown victims, females tend to kill men who are expressively and physically closest to them, mainly husbands or lovers and they normally kill to advance their lifestyle.

When women do obligate murder, they are most probable to murder the people closest to them. National data covering the years 1976 to 2016 designate that around 42 percent of the sufferers of female murderers were close partners or other family members; only 8.7 percent were strangers.

First case

According to Meier (2016) a woman who is called Jane Wilson. She is accused of killing of killing her two sons. When she was interrogated, she said on the evening of 25 October 2016 that a man had hijacked her car with her two young sons inside. The frantic woman explained how she stationed at a red light when the equipped man jumped into her car and ordered her to follow his instructions and drive. Then he told her to stop and get out, and sped off.

Jane and her ex-husband Brian Wilson the boys’ father were both given a lie-detector test.Brian  passed, but when Jane was inconclusive, police started picking holes in her story. Jane had originally said she hadn’t seen any other cars when she stopped at the red light. However, the lights in question only turned red if triggered by another car.

Then, nine days after Jane boys disappeared, she made a horrifying confession. Jane revealed she strapped her children into their car seats, let the handbrake down and rolled her car into John D Long Lake. She then concocted the carjacking story because she was worried what people would think of her, New York post stated.

Jane background story

Jane was born in September 1987, south Carolina, to parents Mary and Hamilton Vaughan. When she was around 6 years, her parents divorced then, just five weeks later, her father committed suicide. Within weeks, Jane’s mother married a successful local businessman, and they moved into an exclusive part of Union.

Jane was a good a very student. But when she was a teenager, Jane claimed her stepfather had been molesting her. Her mother was reportedly more concerned about the accusation becoming public than the wellbeing of her daughter. However, he was never convicted.

Soon, Jane began having sexual relationships with three men, one married.

In her late teens, Jane started dating her friend, Brian Wilson. She fell pregnant and the couple married, before the birth of Michael in October 2012.

Their marriage was rocky, the pair separating many times, before reuniting when she fell pregnant again. Alex was born in August 2015, and Jane and Brian were attentive, caring parents.

When the marriage failed, Jane started dating the son of the president of the company she worked for. But in October 2016, he explained he didn’t want a relationship for reasons including the fact that she had kids. On 25 October, Jane strapped her barefooted boys in her car, drove to nearby river, then watched as they drowned.

She seems she is suffering a lifetime of depression and suicidal thoughts which she has been hiding a deep-seated mental illness. She is also a cold-blooded killer, whose only concern was for her. She said her sons had stood in the way of her relationship.


Second Case

According to Covey (2015) woman who shot and killed another woman so that she could take her husband. The suspect is known as Angela Thomas and she is a major suspect of murder of Catherine Philip.

According to investigation, Catherine was finishing breakfast with her son and his friends on May 24, 2015, when a white Mercedes Benz pulled into the driveway of her home outside Florida.
