Prejudice

My feelings on prejudice and discrimination is I agree and disagree. I agree it is not right to prejudge someone. Prejudice means to pre judge someone or something. I think it is wrong to pre judge someone who I don't even know. For example I should not judge a book by its cover so why judge someone because of there color. It should not matter if you are black, white, or Mexican we should all be treated equal. The movie that we watched really made me realize how much of a struggle it can be to be a different color. The video I think should be shown to everyone in all schools to show why people should not judge people by the color of there skin. I think that schools should offer some kind of class or after school program to teach kids that it is wrong to prejudge someone. The only thing I would be scared for is the kids would go and tell there parents about what they learned and that might upset the parents. The class room discussion after the movie was really great. Someone mentioned about women should be paid as much as men for doing the same job and a I agree with that. The only thing that I disagree with is gay people. It says in the bible that a man should marry a women and if a guy marries a guy that is a sin. But after watching this video it changed the way I think about gay people. It should not bother me because they are doing nothing wrong and they cannot

help being like that. Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr were very brave for fighting for equal rights. They were getting discriminated all the time but that did not stop them from getting there freedom. When Hitler killed all the jews I think that was the worst thing anyone has done to another relgion. To discriminate against someone because of there race, religion, sex, eye color, and etc. is also wrong. I think everyone has been discriminated for something and there's no reason for that. As bad as it sounds I don't think that people are going to stop prejudging people
