Paul McCartney Is Dead Reflection

In my group’s project, we assessed the conspiracy that Paul McCartney in fact died in a car crash in 1966. The British government allegedly covered up the death with an identical double in order to prevent mass suicides from the Beatles’ fan base. Our group had mixed opinions about the conspiracy, none of which were that Paul actually died.

One of our major pieces of evidence was a documentary about the conspiracy, allegedly recorded and titled as “The Last Will and Testament of George Harrison.” The film explained most of the evidence behind the conspiracy. We were able to disprove the film, that it wasn’t actually George, because it had said that Paul ‘died’ on Wednesday, November 9th, 1966, but indicated clues on albums from earlier that year. Although the clues represented in the film matched up with the actual album covers and songs, we couldn’t count it as a reliable source.

We personally obtained physical albums, and studied them for the clues. All the clues mentioned in the video were there. We were even able to discover more clues that the film did not cover. For example, On the back of the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band, the album, George Harrison is pointing at a lyric written on the back of the cover. The lyrics read, “Wednesday Morning at 5 ‘o’clock,” which is the alleged time that Paul had died.

We also used a record player to play songs backwards, and reveal backmasked lyrics clearly saying, “Paul is a dead man, miss him, miss him (I’m So Tired).” or, “HaHa HaHa, Paul is dead” Repeatedly. (I am the Walrus) Some songs even held messages forwards. For instance, at the end of the song, “Strawberry Fields Forever”, You could hear John clearly say, “I buried Paul” as the song faded out. Or in the song, “Glass Onion,” John sang, “Well here’s another clue for you all, The Walrus was Paul,” Referencing the government agent who allegedly compared Paul’s bloody, decapitated body to that of a walrus.

We even attempted to conduct searches into exact weather from the day that Paul ‘died’. The research was not precise, but did mention that November was a rainy month in 1966 England. A main cause for Paul’s ‘car accident’ was the heavy rain. The other was a girl he picked up on the side of the road, who he gave a ride to. Her name was Rita. She is featured in the song, “Lovely Rita” in which Paul sang, “Got the bill, Rita paid it, took her home, we NEARLY MADE IT,” which indicated that they did not make it home. Rita allegedly crawled out of the overturned car to find help because Paul was stuck. When she returned, the car had exploded, ‘killing’ Paul.

Without any other means of investigation, we came to the conclusion that Paul is alive, and there is not enough evidence to support his death as being true. To explain the clearly placed clues, and backmasked
