One of the presidential candidates that I am especially watching is Barack Obama. He seems to be a powerful speaker and one with good views. Those views are similar to those of mine. The first one is that it is never right to kill a person. As a senate, Obama has passed the first bill to stop racial segregating and one that almost got rid of the death penalty. Obama also wants to put more pressure on the government, trying to make things like “Google Government” which tracks the amount of money spent by the government so the people can see. Obama also passed a bill that got rid of voter вЂ?intimidation’ so that the person could vote right. There are people out there who would pay to win an election and by passing this bill, Obama could have been in danger of those people. Also, Obama believes that people should never compromise their ideals of beliefs. Barack has been a lifelong advocate for the poor, rejecting the big money corporations after college to move to the south side of Chicago to help the poor. He believes that the people who are in poverty need help, and he is willing to take action with it. Many Americans live comfortably and do not even care about the poor. Obama won’t compromise this belief however and pushed further everyday. The things that Obama believes in, the strengths in his speeches and the views that he takes makes him a likely candidate in my view.

Obama has had a good family bring him up, and from that he has many good family friendly views. For one, something that everyone learns as a child is that it is not right to kill. Obama keeps this in his heart and fights against the death penalty. He is always looking for alternate ways of lessening penalties so that people can live because he believes that everyone still believes to live even though they have done something bad. He knows that God will forgive them for their faults and from that they should be saved too.

Hope in the face of difficulty, hope in the face of uncertainty, the audacity of hope: In the end, that is God's greatest gift to us, the bedrock of this nation, a belief in things not seen, a belief that there are better days ahead. (Obama)

He believes that even though people have done extremely bad things, they deserve to live, they deserve to hope, and they deserve to dream.

Obama believes strongly that people should never compromise their beliefs too. He is strong rooted and was taught growing up that you should always believe what you believe, and not believe what someone else believes. He knows it is better to be hated for who you are, than for loved for who you are not and his family taught him that. When Obama graduated out of Harvard he could of gone anywhere, worked for any company to his liking, however he did not. He went to the darker and shadier side of Chicago to help and advocate for the poor. He would work with community services and hope to make the poor and oppressed feel better. He also worked with churches and schools to create after-school programs and places where kids can go after school so that they stay out of trouble. He also has set up free training programs for the poor so that they can learn how to do things and change their life. He believes that anything can be done with God’s help with him and with the people.

Joshua said, you know, I'm scared. I'm not sure that I am up to the challenge. The Lord said to him, every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon, I have given you. Be strong and have courage, for I am with you wherever you go. Be strong and have courage. It's a prayer for a journey. A prayer that kept a woman in her seat when the bus driver
