6 What does it mean?

* Nacht und Nebel was a German term used in a secret order.

* The term was Issued by Adolf Hitler on December 7, 1941.

* The intention of this term was to make any of the underground activist disappear into "the fog of the night".

* Also classified prisoners of the camps by "Night and Fog".

* A planned murder of over 6 million Jews and millions of other groups of people.

* Hitler's "Final Solution"

The Holocaust was one of the most horrific events of the 20th century. It occurred between 1933 and 1945. It was a planned systematic murder of over 6 million Jews and millions of other groups of people such as Gypsies, Polish, and even homosexuals. Hitler Called it the "Final Solution" which was to completely exterminate the Jews and other "undesireables". During the Holocaust, people were foced into concentration camps. There were 6 death camps. Auschwitz was the worse of these and at Auschwitz alone 1.5 million people were killed. Upon arrival the prisoners were stripped of their clothes, shaved from head to toe, and tattooed with identification numbers.
