Statistics is a mathematical science pertaining to collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data.

Given a collection of data, statistics may be employed to summarize or describe the data.

Our investigation was for the purpose of finding out the mobile usage of students here at CBM. We gathered primary data through questionnaires distributed to only students at the college. A total of 125 questionnaires were collected. A blank sample of the questionnaire is shown below followed by the tabular summary of the results.

Although it was pretty easy acquiring the data, there were some limitations to the investigation. Students may have given incorrect data, or not taken the questionnaire seriously. Furthermore our experiment was limited to only a small sample of students located only at CBM. Had we had the time or resources we could have expanded our sample size so to attain more reliable data. Also we could have obtained a stratified sample, based on a chosen criteria, however due to factors which were not in our control these limitations persisted.

However to the best of our knowledge the data and results shown herein are accurate and reliable.
