Project synopsis

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The background of the study financing in small and medium scale enterprises is followed from long time back as financing is carried out from ancient days.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This study is significant in the following areas-

• Helps in understanding firm problems.
• Helps to understand the lack of finance
• Helps to understand the changing market conditions.

RESEARCH PROBLEMS

• Lack of access to finance
• Capital/Funds Management
• Changing Conditions

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

• To study how the SME Sector manages funds.
• To study the available sources of finance for SME Sector.
• To study the factors affecting sources of finance

SAMPLING MEHTOD

Simple random sampling with a sample size of 30 People. Quota sampling was adopted by researcher. Quota sampling is where the researcher ensures that certain groups of people, who are knowledgeable about the research problems, are adequately represented in the research through the assignment of a fixed quota for each sub group.  

INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

As my topic was Financing in Small and medium scale enterprises during my tenure at internship at Sarawagi Textile Consultancy I was able to learn about how all the funds are managed in this sector. The overall learning during the internship was excellent and the experience was unforgettable. During the internship I urged the manager to give me mental experience so that in future I can in a top firm.
