Recently I have noticed that our country wants to reinstate the draft, but I don’t see the point in doing so because all we are doing is putting the future of our country in jeopardy. Since the prisons are overpopulated I think that we should send the prisoners that are going to rot in prison to war and let them fight for our country. Of course there are some exceptions, but the country could let them go free if they make it back alive. I just don’t think that it is fair that we have to send innocent young adults to Iraq to fight in the war that they could possible die in.

I think that if our country sends the people that are in prison for narcotics should be released to go fight in the war because when they are in prison all they are going to do is sit there and wish that they could use narcotics. They are not hurting anyone, but themselves and I don’t think that the prisoner could possibly get narcotics and get by with it. They should have a list of the prisoner that is there, so that there are no ways for them to get narcotics.

The other types of people that should be in the war are the thieves because they are going to want anything over in Iraq. There is nothing to take except for guns and bombs which they can use to help our country. Some of the thieves that are in prison are there because they were trying to help there family, so the deal that they would make would be worth it. They could either sit in prison for a long period of time or they could fight for their country and live so that they can go home to their families.

The exception to the rule about prisoner fight for our country is that murders and sex offenders can’t go to Iraq because the murders might turn on each other and shoot at each other, and the sex offenders would try to survive the war and go back to doing the same thing.
