Comparison Of The 3 Different Philosophical Schools Of The Roman Civiliazation

It is the year of 2105 C.E, and the word is still recovering from one of the most massive urban warfare that earth witnessed. People of the planet have a main concern about their new president as well as the government that will rule the world, and handle and repair the destruction occur during the war.

The world's nations voted for their new president, and I have been honored to be the newly elected president of the globe. As the newly elected earth president many duties were assigned to me; on the top of the list is forming a qualified and trusted governments that meets all the qualification required to achieve highly reparation and efflorescent to earth. However, it has been an unfortunate matter that there are neither currently trusted humans nor fully qualified people to run for the ideal global government. Therefore, all the scientists put their efforts and knowledge to solve this dilemma. The resolution came from the invention of the revolutionary machine of the third millennium, the time machine. Through the time machine it has made possible to travel through time and bring the ideal people from the past decades to fulfill the new government positions. Yet, each historical figure will be brought in with a modification on his/her gender, personality, or thoughts and views. These modifications will be made so the new government achieve the level of perfection and fit into our modern society.

Finally, with the help of the time machine, the new government members has been elected, and a list of their names will be declared to the scientists to travel those historical figures through time to our modern days; each modification of each historical figure is indicated in the list as well.

The vice president will be Julius Caesar from the ancient era of the Roman Empire. Julius was known by his well military trained and experience, and leadership skills, which led him to be a roman dictator. He was also known for his defense of the rights of people. Although he met the general qualification, the only modification needed for Julius Caesar is his judgment of people. If Julius Caesar had the right judgment on people, especially the ones around him, he would not end in betrayal by one of his followers, which led to his assassination.

Then, the time machine will set back about 200 hundred years to recall the Carthaginian warrior and king Hannibal. He was the king of the Phoenician city Carthage. He acquired his fame as one of greatest military leaders through the history, and his glory in leading forces with elephants through the Alps to Rome, which he could not encounter; yet, he invaded northern part of Italy in the second Punic war. However, Hannibal was not able to maintain control over his victory and the new conquered land. Thus, he withdrawn and negotiated peace. His act of weakness in controlling the difficult situations was held against him as a bad characteristic that needs to be modified before he start his duties as a homeland security chief.

The next position in the new government is the secretary of states. This position required a communication skills as well as knowledge in social and political matters. Due to the importance of this position, the suited person for position will be from the time of the renaissance movement. The Italian poet Francesco Petrarca or Petrarch is the chosen person for position of secretary of state. Petrarach is considering one of the early humanists and scholars who led the renaissance movement in Europe, which resulted in a revolution in science, art, and social aspects. He restored the cultural heritage of classical Greece and Rome to fit more in the movement of the rebirth that he and other scholars initiated. Petrarach was a follower of the Catholic Church; he defeated the split of Martin Luther from the Catholic Church. The strict and prejudice religious belief will not fit very well in the new global society, where people are a mixture of different religions, origins, and cultural backgrounds; thus, this characteristic will be altered from Petrarach's personality.

In order for the society to live in justice a decision was made to employ Sumerian king Hamurabi as the chief of the Supreme Court. Because of his code of law, Hamurabi claim the position of the Supreme Court chief with no competion. He organized people's lives; gave their rights and stated their responsibility towards the kings and among themselves. He also, put the appropriate punishment for any disobedience by the people. Yet, those punishments were too violent to be used in our days as a punishment for a crime; therefore, Hamurabi's forms of punishment are the subjects of change and modification to make them less violent. On the other hand, the position of the secretary of armed forces will be held for Alexander the great. Alexander became a legend because of his achievement in conquering most of Asia, Europe, and Africa, and extended the Greek empire to northern India, which began a new era that is known as the Hellenistic era.
