Hello my name is Linda Galloway. I am 35 years old. I have been divorced twice, have 5 kids. The three older ones was first marriage and gave them up for adoption 11 years ago. I have 2 other children I do see. My whole life I have had addiction to both men and drugs. I wanted men to love me because I could not love me .I went to rehab in the year 2005. There is where I realized I was sick and wanted kids and men to help love me, and the only thing I realized I had to love me to love them. It takes me a hard time to sit and write this. But I want others to know my life story.

This is what I am doing now to stay clean from drugs and find a balance in my relationships, motherhood, and school, and work. It wasn’t easy for me to decide to go to school because I always struggled in school with ADD and slow learner. But I wanted something different in my life since now I was alone with out kids and men. I heard about Axia from a friend. I inquired about it, got paper work started, and here I am going to school. I have been going 2 years now. My GPA 3.0. I have my son every weekend. I work 12am till 6are 3days out of a week. I am still in a relationship with the man I have been in 4 years. But we also separated because of our own sanity and we still need to learn how to grow up. But he has always been there for me than any other men in my life. He is so special and my kids call him dad.

Theses are my dreams and goals for my future. My first goal is to love me, my higher power, and my kids. If I can’t love me I can’t love them. I hope to finish my Associates degree in February and go on to receive Bachelors in Social Worker because I believe I have the experience to help other people and I do have health related experience because I suffer from chronic
