The terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11 2001, had catastrophic effects. A lot of people were killed. The people who were killed include; those who were on the planes, and those who were in the buildings struck by the planes. People and business got scared, and moved out of the targeted regions. These regions were places that people thought terrorist would most likely attack. The United States going to war with Iraq, was by far the worst effect.

The terrorist attacks struck fear in the hearts of many Americans. People feared that, terrorist would once more attempt to execute such a devastating attack. As a result of this fear, lots of people and business packed up and left the affected areas. This was not only true for the affected areas. People and businesses in all major cities across the United State, packed up and moved away. These people and businesses, moved to areas they toughed terrorist would least likely attack. As a result of these fears, lots of people lost their jobs when business moved out of their towns, or simply shutdown. People also gained jobs, when the previous holders decided it would be better for them, and their families to move away.

During the attacks, lots of people were killed. The people who were killed include; those who worked in both towers of the World Trade Center, and military and non military personnel in the Pentagon. People who were on board the three planes that were used as weapons were also killed. Hundreds of rescue workers including fire fighters, and police officers were also killed. in their brave attempt to rescue people from the burning buildings, they lost their lives.

The United States going to war with Iraq is by far the biggest effect, of the terrorists attacks. The war was started as a result of the attacks. In itself , the war also brought along its own effects. The war brought division among both Americans,
