Top 10 Applications Of 2007

1. MS Office 2007

I really like the new look of this application. There are a lot of capabilities that I may not ever use but I like the new tab selections. I did find that there is a definite learning curve.

2. Dreamweaver 8.0

I have used Pagemaker in the past and I really like the features of Dreamweaver and the ease of use.

3. Symantec Backup Exec 10.0

Before I upgraded to 10.0, I used to use the 8.5 version. I really like the new look and the reporting is much easier to read and the data selection is improved.

4. McAfee Enterprise protection

Before switching to McAfee, I was using the Symantec’s version. McAfee seemed to have better protection against SPAM and Viruses. I also like the detail reporting features.

5. MS VM Ware

This is a great tool to save money by running two OS’s on one machine.

6. Google Earth

Although this was not new in 2007, there have been some improvements. I think it is pretty neat to see my house clearly at 1000 feet.

7. Photoshop

I bought this application last year to be able to re-size pictures without distortion. I do not know all the capabilities but it works great for what I had to use it for.

8. Firefox

I have been using Firefox more often lately. It seems to have just as many features as MS IE and it is not subject to as many attacks.

9. MS Project 2007
