              LAB # 11

 Single phase transformer .

Objective:

         To determine the turns ratio of a transformer.

Transformer ratio(K):

      The ratio by which a transformer increase or decrease the value of input voltage, number of turns of coil and current at secondary coil.

             K=V2/V1 =N2/N1 = I1/I2

How to find ratio:

        V1  :   V2

         230 : 23

           10 : 1

For 10:1

        I2    :  I1

      23    :  2.3

        10  :   1

For 10:1

       V1   :  V2

       230 : 2300

1  :  10

For 1:10

       I2  :  I1

     2.3 :   23

      1   :   10

For 1:10
