Memory itself is a powerful human characteristic every person has. It can save or kill someone on trial; it can haunt and torture or brighten and tickle oneself with laughter; it makes the values of how much a person means to another. By remembering something does not always make it true. The truth is only true if there are multiple agreements on the subject, not from a single source. Memories do have an input in our daily decisions, but experience is what contributes to those decisions. Memories and experience are similar, but also different in which memories control our emotions and experience controls our dos and don'ts; right and wrongs.

For some people they remember every moment of their life rather it be a sad or happy. With a guilty conscience the memories torture the person, until he or she would confess. I blame memories on why we shouldn't be friends with our EXs. Depending on who broke it off, it could shatter someone. The fact is in a relationship you would remember precious times, unforgettable events. Once that breakup has initiated its makes all those memories into nightmares. Every memory becomes a consistent reminder of what was there and now is missing. By staying friends there will be a dilemma of those times interfering how you would view on that person. For instance in my case, she broke up with me, and she wanted to stay friends. It came down to me still having an emotional connection to her because of those memories, but could not express those emotions as it would make the friendship awkward than it already is. Because of that I had to end a friendship that I loved and hated. We do although convert these memories to experiences and that would control our future. To sustain individuality, which is built upon memories there should not be limited memories that one person should only receive. Sometimes it's better that we use "our own way" to do things
