Club IT is a downtown music venue managed and owned by Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada. As the newest IT member, my responsible it to see what technology Club IT's is and how it can be improved. Lisa and Ruben run the office and maintain all financial and business-related records. Talking with Lisa and Ruben they stated they were looking to boost their information technology, data management and decision making capabilities. After looking into the web site it seems the club has password secured employee portal connected to their main web site. Club IT needs to separate the consumer web site from the employee portal. A company intranet needs to set up; an intranet uses TCP/IP, HTTP and other Internet protocols and in general looks like a private version of the Internet. With tunneling, companies can send private messages through the public network, using the public network with special encryption/decryption and other security safeguards to connect one part of their intranet to another (Mitchell). The information technology is lagging compare to other businesses. Club IT would benefit by having transaction processing systems (TPS), office automation systems (OAS); major capabilities of information systems are performing high speed high volume numerical computations. They provide fast accurate communication and collaboration within and among organization (Rainer, & Turban, 2008).

The strategies that I would imply would be innovation, introducing new products and services and/or developing new ways to produce them. Companies require a way to unlock the process of innovation and create innovation-driven growth
