The first thing that most people think about when they think about lakes is the fishing. Many people like to go fishing in the calm and peacefulness of nature. Personally, I like to do much more than fish on a lake near my home. Fun things that I enjoy are, knee boarding, skiing, tubing, Jet Skiing, canoeing, boating in general, and obviously fishing which I believe makes this property so valuable.

Pigeon Lake is located in Valders, Wisconsin, about fifteen miles from Manitowac. It is a small 82 square acre lake. The scenery on this lake is one of the greatest sights I have ever seen. Only half of the lake is actually become residential and the other half is rugged woods. The woods to the northern end really show nature's great force. There are many trees that have fallen onto the shores and many rocks that have been pushed to the side of this shore. There is a pretty little island located in the northeastern portion of the lake. This island has just recently been targeted as a little party spot for some kids but it still is a great piece of scenery. Out in the middle of the lake, the view is amazing. The view is of the whole lake including many cottages/homes that would sell close to $750,000!

My favorite activity on this beautiful lake is fishing at midnight. I love to go out in the middle of the night when nothing is moving or stirring anything up. I love the peacefulness. The lake's quiet sensations really amplify all other senses. Not being able to see and the silence of the time will heighten your hearing for all of the abnormal things that are never heard during the day. Things included are, bats flying around, or even the slightest touch on the top of the water by a nearby fish. The fishing itself has always treated me very well. I usually can catch many fish in one outing.

Many of the other things I have included in great activities out here involve some sort of motor. I love tubing. This is one of the most excruciating, exhilarating, and electrifying things ever. The best part of it is when the tube flies outside of the wake and takes me all the way to the front of the boat. After two laps of this the power and g-force
