Country vs City

Our nation is primarily composed of two types of people, those who live in the city and those who live in the country. The difference between these people is that some are the city crowd and the others are the country people. All these people start the day with the same type of goals, however that is where their similarities end. The different sceneries and people, along with the variety of jobs, endless entertainments and the different ways of transportation make the fast paced city crowd so much more different from the often multi cultured, easy going country people. City living and country living are complete opposites.

The environment in the country is by far beyond comparison with the cities, there is less population, fewer factories and less noise in the country; whereas the cities are filled with cars and factories which are the essential reasons to noise and pollution. There are an absolute ton of cars on the street at any time of the day, or night, which creates an excessive amount of noise all the time. Not only are there cars everywhere, in the city, there are people everywhere, all the time. They are used to living a very fast and dynamic lifestyle. However, in the country life moves at a much slower pace. Peaceful is one of the best words used to describe life, living in the country. Even taking into account better job and career opportunities in a modern city, it is sometimes hard to pay for everything a person needs. From paying for food to paying your rent, it can be very difficult. Which is why, it is very common to meet people in the city that work two very competitive jobs. In contrast to this, people that live in the country usually don’t have to pay as much for housing and food. Especially since most people that live in the country have their own garden, where they can produce a good portion of their food on their own.

In the city, there are a lot more jobs available compared to the country, but in the city the job market is a lot more competitive. In the city, almost every job is competing with at least one other business.Whereas in the country most people spend their days, producing their crops and taking care of their animals on their property. But some people in the country do have an actual job, that they have to travel a distance to get to. But their job market is a lot less competitive, than the cities, In the country you don't really have that constant competition with jobs. One of the hard parts about working, and living in the country is that, you may have to drive an average of forty-five minutes or more, just to get to work. Which is different from the city life, where you may even
