Beowulf

Beowulf is who some may consider to be strong and wise. Several youth look up to him and try to follow his example. He is admired by the community as a brave warrior who believes in the well-being of the community. In my opinion, this is all false! He is not a prince charming or some type of miraculous hero. Beowulf is a lazy person who prides himself on making a fool out of monsters so he can receive praise and glory from his peers. He clams I do things purposely and my main goal is to kill and destroy. This opinion cannot be formed without first knowing the truth behind the story and Im the perfect one to tell it.

Beowulf is a horrible person. Growing up, he was the only child raised in a two-parent household. No was never and optional answer to his request and he was very demanding. Therefore, in so many words, he was a spoiled rotten brat. This filtered into his mannish years and he was always looking for ways to have all the attention on him. Females were not very fund of the way he was acting therefore the attraction was not there. Beowulf wanted to prove to himself as well as others, that he was brave and deserved a nice young woman. This is when he came upon the plan to pick on me, Grendal.

One day I was on stroll in Herot searching for new friends. Previously that week I remembered hearing poets singing and the beautiful sounds of harps.
