Abstract

The supply and demand of teachers is growing as the population grows which more and more children need their education. Education is and will always be the best ideal achievement everyone needs to be a good provide for their family as well as obtaining a good job.

Supply and Demand for Teachers

The demand for teachers is growing due to many factors in society which education is the main ideal achievement needed to have a progressive life style. Many people from different generations view the teaching profession as several forms of

Self-satisfaction, to help their community, empowers the minds of society, and reduces literacy. The life style of teachers is tremendously hard; some people may think that the teachers punch at 3:45 when the children leave the school. But actually their work continues even after hours in which they are not paid for. The turn around of teachers resigning their position is 1 to 20 due to family related issues which is a good ratio. Teachers must devote and dedicate a good portion of their life towards their jobs and students.

The benefits for teachers are the same as in other jobs but the are some issues surrounding the cost. The health insurance has been increasing while the pay rate stays the same for several years. The teachers have been fighting for an increase of pay especially since the increases are not coming in for them and their benefits rates are increasing.

If teachers are willing to help students with tutoring, it must be on their own time and at their own well being. As educators, they must grade the homework of their students after hours and some even give their home phone number if a child needs help or has a question on a subject. Many of the educators have the will and the ability to teach the child even though they have some disabilities such as learning
