Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide solutions for people who drive large craft boats with maneuvering issues. We aim to solve their problems with the best personnel trained in the area and give warranty in the service provided so the customer feels completely safe to trust his/her vessel to our company.
Side-thruster is a company that understands the need of maneuvering, safety and special care for our clients' boats. We enjoy taking care of you and your vessel.
Strategic and Financial Objectives
1. Continued Growth
a. Increase Sales by more than 30% (sale 58 units on 3rd year)
b. Reduce COGS by 20%
2. Improve Technology
a. Improve thrusters production process
b. Reduce installation time and personnel
3. Increase brand awareness
a. POS (Point of Sale) in near by Massachusetts main ports
b. Partnership agreements with leisure boat builders
The financial and strategic goals for the 3rd year of operations are focused on obtaining two things: cost reduction and greater market penetration making these set of goals mutually inclusive.
The first steps are increasing financial growth and potential market share. To obtain financial growth we must reduce COGS by 20% doing the following:
Optimizing installation processes: obtain blueprints of boat to install from owner, pre-fabricate parts and ship them to installation site, reduce personnel from 4 to 2 workers per install.
