COM 200: After-Dinner Speech
Life is crazy. It's fast, it's hard and it can be rough sometimes. However, there are certain people in this world that can turn things around and make the most mundane, boring, or hard parts of life seem as small as grains of sandÐ'--a tiny part of something so much greater.
As he turns 21, I'd like to thank my boyfriend Ed for always being that kind of person. Now that college is over for him he's going to be thrown into the real world. Life after college, life with a real job and real headaches; and not the "oh no I've got a paper to write headaches", more like the "oh no I've got to pay the rent and cook my own dinner kind of headaches."

He's completely capable of anything he sets his mind to Ð'- as long as it doesn't require a really good sense of direction or math skills. He'd never think to take out a map when he's lost but he'd break out the calculator for 6x7Ð'... he's too pretty for math anyway.
In all seriousness, some people you meet will be good influences, some bad, some you'll forget two seconds after meeting. But Edward Delahunt is the kind of guy who'll change the way you see the world with just one smile.
