Self Discovery

Self discovery was a very important issue. You get to realize certain things you didn't want or never saw before. My favorite assignment was the discovery wheel, which was very interesting. It's answering a lot of question about yourself and getting an evaluation. The evaluation comes in a wheel (circle) which breaks down your evaluation into slices like a pie.

In this assignment it allowed me to gain re-evaluation of myself. It showed my strengths and weakness. With the knowledge I have gained from the assignment I wasn't shocked; of course I had both since I don't portray myself as a perfect student. The importance of this assignment was high, especially to me. It can help me become a better student in college by attacking my weaknesses and striving for higher with my strengths.

My strengths in the discovery wheel are thinking and purpose. I can apply these strengths to school for difficult homework assignments. At work there is a purpose to everything and with the level of purpose I have, I apply it. Social life is my family; the discovery wheel is applied by how imperfect I am. And my family adores that because it's who I am.

Notes and Tests

The discovery/intention statement (2 part assignment) was my favorite assignment for his topic. In this assignment there was a 4-minute brainstorm that ran off of our thoughts and excuses. The second part of the assignment is staying healthy under pressure. It consists of choosing one of our biggest challenge of staying healthy. By making some research offered valuable information.

By doing this assignment I gained valuable information. It means a lot when you don't notice something's about yourself in a 4-minute brainstorming exercise and researching on the biggest challenges under pressure. I learned that you cannot make excuses you're own doing. The assignment opens your eyes and benefits to life especially in school life. To be successful in college you need to know what is you biggest challenge under pressure so you can gain control.
