Living in the big cities

People live in big cities and small cities around the world. I think, it is really important to where people live since the places people live shapes people's life and expectations direclty. For me, there are two important factors of the places to live; job opportunites and social activites in that places.

Firstly, people have to work to earn their lives. Today's global  world, more and more people have at least undergraduate education compared to past. This situation leads to corporate jobs be more popular among the other job fields. In the big and developed cities, there are many job vacants for gradutes welcoming job market each year. May recent graduates and even students try to find job in big cities because of the opportunities available to them. For example, l used to live in small town in Turkey when l was high school student in my hometown. After university extrance exam, l choosed the universty in Istanbul which is the biggest and metropolitan city in Turkey. The reason behind my choice was related with job opportunities in here. If l preferred the study in my hometown, l couldn' have had  a chance to prepare myself to job market and even find a job for me. Although, big cities have more job vacants, apperantly, there is high competition in the job market which is good for career development.  Hence, job opportunitites are really important for the places people live.

Second, social activities should be other consideration for places.  Apart from the student life and professional life, human kind is social creature and they need to interact with other people. Social activies are the number one preference for spending time with other people. People, living in the places where many activies in there, could attend many activites such as theatre, concerts, exhibits etc. In that way they would spent their times efficiently meaning they would have qualifed time. As we all know, time is the most important thing we have and many people try to spent their time as much qualified as they can. Therefore, social activites are really important feature for the places since they broaden our knowledge about the art, music and literacy and make us enjoy with our times.
