The CRIPS are all about "community" in their own twisted way.The CRIPS view their community of gang members and offiliates, as strong recognizeable "folks".

They align themselves under the mighty and heavily gang associated FOLK NATION.

Thus being warned with my introductry paraphrased paragraph, i will now open up a more detail scoop on the gang now formely know and the the CRIPS. CRIP, Is a very influential acronym which by several contacts and powers of knowledge i've figured out means Constructed Restoration In Progress.The crips started out as an essential fight back to reassure black males their self respect against the heavy racism of their time , which ended up turning into the horror story of a gang we all see now.

The gang started out as raymond , tookie and a crip member pookie chillin and protecting each others.When initialy founded the crips were called the CRIBBS, but upon going to compton and meeting gang member of the BLOODS they were told " leave here and take that crip nigga with ya" hence the crip giving the crips their name.
