In the scenario provided, a bank robbery has taken place by four

suspects and a guard is injured. The police officer notice a car that fits

the description(white Camry) of the get away car but there are only two passengers.

At this point, the police officer should stop the vehicle and notify the

passengers that there was a robbery in the area and their car fits the

description. Search and seizure can be conducted at this time with the

permission of the passengers. The police officer should not proceed

without permission or a signed warrant and the dispatcher

notified the officer,"there is no match." If there was a guaranteed match, the proper search and seizure procedure would be conducted. The judge and defense attorney can motion to suppress the evidence in this case with the dispatcher=s testimony; therefore, more evidence is needed.

The second vehicle was pulled over for a broken taillight but the passengers fit the description of two suspects in the burglary. As the police officer, I would call for assistance because there is probable cause to search this vehicle. The vehicle will be searched immediately on the premises due to the nature of the crime. This is a high profile case that requires immediate attention. My fellow officers will be the witness in this case to testify that the search and seizure was conducted in a professional manner not violating the rights of the accused. As a police officer, I am thinking on the lines of protecting the community. The evidence collected in this case should be accepted in the courts as long as there is no reasonable doubt that the evidence provided
