Description of preferred future:

Modification on capitalism: Now, our market is very monetary based, products that are cheap and good enough can be the market leader and everyone will buy it because the price and the cost to customer is only about the product itself and its function, but the damage/pollution done to the environment is always neglected and most of the customers are indifferent about it. To encourage people to have more awareness on it, we should take the damage to environment in the cost for the customer such that people can take their wise choice to take not only the cheapest in price or the best in quality, but also the damage dealt to the environment in count.

Lifestyle: To encourage low carbon footprint by controlling the price of products with different carbon footprint so as to force/encourage people to use those with lower carbon footprint. For example we will intervene the market and lower the selling price of vegetables and increase the price of meat, the degree of change in price will be determined by the carbon footprint of different products. Beside food, transportation have been playing a main role in carbon footprint, so we will first complete/improve the system of our public transport so that it can be more efficient even if we have more people using it, then we will increase the cost of using private vehicles and encourage more people to use public transport so as to decrease carbon footprints.

Technologies:

-We will spend more resources on digging into new/more clean energy and our target is to replace all fossil fuels in the future.

-Also we will investigate in new GM food targeting solution to poor countries so as to solve the problem of hunger.

-And we encourage new inventions(especially home appliances) like a special shower that can produce water droplet so as to increase contacting surface area between our body and the water so as to save the usage of water, for conserving energy/saving water or other resources, we will provide subsidies for those inventions so that more people will purchase it because it doesn’t only have lower price but also energy saving.

-The last thing in technology is to manufacture cheaper but efficient electronic appliances for poor countries so that technology can be popularized and every person in the world can have access to technology and knowledge.

Equality: To provide more education for as much people as possible, with the help of technology, apps or campaign like KHAN academy can help us to deliver knowledge to maximum number of people with least cost, what we need to do manually is to train more Language teaching staffs so that every people with access to technology can learn any knowledge of school online even if they can’t go to school.

Social contracts: To have contracts among countries to prevent wars from happening.

Explanation

Capitalism:making pollution caused from the product a part of the cost for the customers in monetary term.->People will be more aware of the damage done to the environment comparing to now that people can damage the environment with absolutely no cost.

Lifestyle: Provide subsidies to farmers that farm vegetables and charge taxes or regulate and force the price setting in certain level on meat producers. The changes are depended on the carbon footprint of producing such products, the more footprint the high price it would be. Also we would charge more taxes on gasoline so that the price on gasoline will increase and the cost of driving will be higher, which will encourage people to use more public transport. But before doing so we will ensure the public transport system in such place is reliable enough for large number of passengers.
