I have never taken a course in religion or theology before, mainly because my school never offered any courses dealing with the topics. The only course I could say taught me religion would be my world history class. We touched briefly on the Crusades, the Age of Enlightenment, etc. Unfortunately, I learned this my Sophomore year in high school and never touched on the topic of religion ever again until now.

Taking AP Human Geography also provided me with information about other religions and the whole idea about religion itself. My instructor imprinted me with basic facts about certain religions and the different divisions of each. The class was very interactive and constantly had me thinking about the perspectives of each religion and their different/similar beliefs. Human Geography furthered my interest in religion greatly.

Although I grew up in a household that saw religion as a distraction, I’ve always taken into account other people’s perspectives on religion. I see this class as a gateway to a really broad perspective on religion.

This class was one of the most interesting religion courses that I was offered, and after the first day of class, I’m even more excited to learn about religion than I already was. I’ve always been interested in the topic of religion, the way it ties into our everyday lives, and shapes our lifestyle. I figured this class would explain those topics in detail and expand the little knowledge I’ve acquired.

The next question that is asked is if I would like to read others thoughts uncontrollably, or never age for 100 years. There are many pros and cons to both of these, but I believe that reading others thoughts uncontrollably is the best of the two.

The pros of aging for 100 years are limited compared to that of reading minds. If I never aged, I would be able to maintain my health throughout my whole life and never have to worry about getting weaker. But on the other hand, the question didn’t specify the exact age, so I could end up being a newborn for the rest of my life and never develop the comprehension skills that come with aging.
