Tradition

In the United States and all around the world, families practice many kinds of different traditions. In my family one of our many traditions is Sunday dinner at my grandmothers house. I love Sundays not only because we get to see the whole family again but also because of all the great food.

Every Sunday since I could remember I've always been in East Meadow at my grandmothers. Its and Italian tradition we have had since forever. Pasta meatballs, itialian bread, antipasta, you name is, my grandma's got it.

One of my favorite traditions is Superbowl Sundays at my house which we started last year. My dad bought this amazing flatscreen HD tv for the living room and put the plasma screen in the basement. Wings, chili dip, pigs in a blanket, and chips are a very of the appetizers for the game and then a huge meal at halftime. Sports is a big thing in my family and watching the big game is awsome. Another traditions my family celebrates is Easter. My family is always busy with sports and practices so we make sure we never miss Easter mass because we cannot

always make it to church.

Besides birthdays, another traditions we celebrate is Christmas. The WHOLE family gets together and has a huge feast. Grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, the whole family. The house we have it at changes every year now because my great grandmother used to have it every year but she recently moved to a small house in queens and cannot

accommodate everyone. For desert, everyone brings something from home or the Italian bakery.

Weekends were another traditions that my family had. On my moms side of the family, they have a huge breakfast on Saturday or maybe Sunday mornings to celelbrate the weekend and being together. Even now my mom either makes a big breakfast or makes up a family activity for Saturday or Sunday.
