Writing Prompt: My Probems

I have the problems commonly exhibited by most thirteen-year-olds. I underestimate myself often. However, I feel like I'm able to deal with them. I feel like there are too many messed-up people in the world. I've watched several episodes of "To Catch a Predator" and that really opened my eyes.

There are fat too many pedophiles/rapists in chat rooms, myspace, youtube, etc. I've always known there were sick people out there, but I didn't know there was such an alarming rate of them. Most are just middle-aged men who are sick in the head--most of them are married, have kids, and a job. There are sites like Perverted-Justice.com who are trying to eliminate them.

The sad part is the really slick ones don't get caught. I feel like kids should be informed of the dangers and those pedophiles should get caught. I really don't understand why people do this when they have wives, or they could get a girlfriend or someone else their age. They are mentally ill. Not to mention, people who want to kill others need intense therapy.

Also, teens who are very depressed and suicidal should get therapy before someone causes another school shooting. It's too sad, really. I think there should be more laws protecting minors, helping them, and educating them.

I also wanted to mention that people should help homeless people by making a home in every community. there should be more places like Salvation Army. Also, parents, who abuse their children are sick and need to stop...that is just wrong beyond words. They need help. Basically, people need to help others to improve the world. There are too many problems. I know no one is superman and "poof!" and all the problems in the world will go away--but people should stop and get help. We live in this world together.
