Define the business research and its purpose

The purpose of this article is to understand why Pharmacists are refusing women the right to fill their prescriptions of birth control pills. Picture a time when you went to the pharmacist's window to fill your prescription that you just received from your doctor and he takes a glance at the prescription to suddenly inform you that he will not refill it. A growing number of pharmacists have been refusing to dispense birth-control pills and emergency contraception (ECP) because it goes against their personal beliefs and the laws allows it. It has been stated that Pharmacist's in some states such as: Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi and South Dakota can legally deny prescriptions on moral or religious grounds. Some may feel that the denials are another way of controlling women's reproductive health choices. This Pharmacists known as Karen Brauer felt very strongly towards filling prescriptions of the (ECP) because she believed that this was not a true contraceptive and it was just another way to aborted a living human being.

ACLJ stand firm in believing that no one should have to choose between their moral beliefs and their job. This puts them in a position to make an ethical decision that could insult their integrity and values. Both federal and state law makes it illegal to fire a person because of their religion.
